I've been fortunate to be able to travel to Germany quite a few times over the years. Back then, it was like a second home to me and visiting my inlaws and extended family was as comfortable as it was being in my own home. I loved everything about being there, but mostly the sounds and smells. The church bells, the police sirens - if there is such thing as reincarnation, I surely was European in a past life!
