As many of you know, my role here at Metro Mom Guide is much more than a site administrator. My goal is to connect community with small, local businesses to help establish long, mutually beneficial relationships. Time Flies?

When I was younger, I remember listing to the "old people" talk about how the older you get, the faster the years go by. I never really understood that since the number of minutes in an hour, hours in a day always remain the same. Now that I am becoming one of the "old people" - feel free to step in and disagree - I find myself saying the same thing.
As I wrap up 2011, I find that I set too many goals and objectives for myself last year. I wanted to accomplish so much and although I did accomplish plenty, I didn't take time to relax and enjoy my successes. In fact, they don't even seem as important to me now as they did when I set them as goals.
